Here’s the straight version: we couldn’t confirm LeoVegas’s rest-of-Canada sports welcome. A Canadian page confirms the format, a bet-and-get free bet on the international site, but gives no amount. The figure in the offer box comes from an undated page that uses “$” without a CAD label, shows a bigger headline elsewhere and contradicts itself on rollover. A third page describes a smaller free bet tied to deposit size. LeoVegas’s own pages returned errors to our checks.
So read the offer box as the most specific figure we found, not as confirmed terms. What the sources agree on: you place a qualifying bet at the minimum odds in the offer box, inside a short window, and receive free bets.
That last line is why the rollover question matters more than the amount. A free bet with no rollover on its winnings is simple value. One with a heavy rollover is mostly paid betting time. How to claim it
Register from a province outside Ontario and Alberta and open the promotions page before you deposit; that’s where the current welcome and its terms should appear. Note the amount, the odds floor and whether any rollover applies to free-bet winnings. Deposit by Interac, place the qualifying bet inside the window and wait for the free bets to land. LeoVegas lists a broad sportsbook in our sources, with ice hockey, soccer, tennis, basketball and esports named. American and Canadian football and baseball aren’t named in our sources, so check the menu before you join for NFL, CFL or MLB.
Hockey is the strongest fit through the winter: the NHL’s 84-game season runs to 10 April 2027, with seven Canadian teams. Soccer bettors get MLS Cup on 18 December, with Toronto FC, CF Montréal and the Whitecaps in the league, and the Canadian Premier League final weekend on 21 and 22 November. 🔒 Licence and safety
LeoVegas states Malta Gaming Authority licence MGA/CRP/237/2013. The MGA licensee register couldn’t be read during our check, so we haven’t seen that entry ourselves. As a secondary check, the UK Gambling Commission register shows LeoVegas Gaming PLC’s casino, bingo and betting licences all active. Malta requires binding dispute resolution and player-funds reporting.
