How we read Austrian offers
🔥 The Austrian board is loud: packages up to €7,500 over several deposits, hundreds of free spins, weekly cashback up to 15%. We read every one clause by clause. Most welcome offers here are packages shown as one worded summary, so our welcome bonus page breaks each into its rungs. Winshark’s €2,500, for example, is €150, €200 and €300 on the standard route; the headline needs a €500 high-roller first deposit.
Then the maths. A 100% match on €100 at 40x on the bonus means €4,000 in bets, about €160 in expected cost at a 96% slot. At 30x on deposit plus bonus, the same €100 means €6,000. The charts above rank every offer on exactly that, and the wagering calculator runs any offer you like.
Where the numbers come from
Most bonus figures in our Austria records come from Austrian review sites, cross-checked against each other; a few, such as Bison’s and Lemon’s, come from the operators’ own bonus pages. Where sources disagree, we say so: PIKE’s wagering is reported anywhere from 30x on the bonus to 60x on deposit plus bonus, and Rolling Slots’ welcome appears in four sizes. Treat every figure as the best reading on 3 November 2026 and check the cashier terms before you deposit. How the scores work is on how we rate.
Licences, plainly
No casino on our list holds an Austrian concession. Österreichische Lotterien runs the only licensed online casino, win2day.at. The brands here hold foreign licences, and several are thin: Curaçao licences that the register shows as under assessment, Anjouan numbers we could not check, and one brand, Slotrave, whose licence differs between sources. PIKE is the exception with indefinite status on the Curaçao register. We put the licence next to every offer, and the Austria casino list explains each one.
Austria notes
The reform bill would end the online monopoly, with new licences from 1 October 2027 at the earliest. Foreign operators must stop serving Austria by 1 January 2027 to qualify, so some brands here may close Austrian accounts around then; keep verification current and balances low. Austrian courts have ordered unlicensed operators to repay players’ losses, and in one case ordered a player to repay winnings. Outcomes are case by case. Our online casino law guide covers all of it, and the winnings tax guide covers what you keep.
For deposits, EPS casinos pay from your Austrian bank account and Paysafecard casinos take vouchers from the Trafik. For quick exits, see payout times on our Austrian casino list.
