How cashback works
Cashback returns a share of what you lose over a set period. It doesn’t touch your winning days. What makes one cashback offer better than another isn’t the rate - it’s what you have to do with the money once it comes back.
Here’s a worked example in euro. Say you finish a day €200 down at a casino paying 10% daily cashback. €20 comes back.
At 0x wagering, as at Douppi in Finland, the €20 is cash. Withdraw it or keep playing; your choice.
At 10x, as at Hurjaa, Pelifantti, Bajazo and Spinnair in Finland, you bet 10 x €20 = €200 before it turns into cash. At a 96% RTP that costs about €8 on average, leaving around €12 of value.
At 30x, as at Rolling Slots, Mino Casino and Winshark in Austria, you bet €600. The average cost of about €24 is more than the €20 returned, so on paper it’s playtime, not value.
The rate on the banner is the same in all three cases; the value is not.
🧮 What 30x does to €20 of cashback
Illustrative: expected value of €20 in returned funds as the multiplier rises, at 96% and 97% RTP
Solid line: slots at 96% RTP. Dashed: 97% RTP. Break-even at 96% RTP is about 25x. Averages only - real results vary widely.
What’s on the page right now
Nine cashback offers. The six from Finland are mostly daily: Bajazo returns 10-20%, Spinnair 20%, Hurjaa and Pelifantti up to 15% of yesterday’s losses, and Douppi 10%, every day. SpinSkull settles weekly at 5-15% of slot losses. The three from Austria are weekly: Mino Casino at 5-15% up to €300 on slots, Rolling Slots at 10% up to €200, and Winshark at up to 15% by VIP level.
Several Finnish brands use cashback in place of a welcome bonus. Hurjaa and Pelifantti lead with daily cashback instead of a one-off welcome bonus, which suits players who’d rather not sign up for a 40x target.
Daily vs weekly cashback
Daily cashback settles yesterday’s result each morning. It’s small, frequent and usually short-lived: Hurjaa’s has to be used the same day it lands. Weekly cashback settles seven days at once, often on slot losses only, and the rate tends to climb with your VIP level - Mino Casino, Winshark and SpinSkull all scale it that way. Daily suits players who drop in for a session now and then; weekly suits regulars. Neither changes the maths above: the wagering on what comes back still decides the value.
Cashback vs a reload bonus
A reload adds money before you play; cashback returns some after you lose. Reloads on our list carry 40x to 45x, so a €50 reload means €2,000 or more in bets. A low-wagering cashback offer asks far less, but only pays out on a losing period.
⚠️ What to check before you claim
The wagering on returned funds. From 0x at Douppi to 30x in Austria, and 50x at Hurjaa and Pelifantti when paid as spins.
The clock. Hurjaa’s daily cashback must be used the same day; Mino Casino gives five days; Rolling Slots seven.
The cap. Mino Casino stops at €300 a week, Rolling Slots at €200.
The qualifying deposit. Rolling Slots needs a €50 deposit in the week to qualify.
Which games count. Mino Casino and SpinSkull calculate cashback on slot losses only.
The max bet. Hurjaa and Rolling Slots cap bets at €5 while returned funds are active.
Our top picks, explained
Douppi (Finland) pays 10% back every day with no wagering - the closest thing to cash on this page. Its welcome spins are wager-free too. It holds a Curaçao licence, so Finnish residents pay tax on winnings, and it pays out only through Brite with a €40 minimum withdrawal.
SpinSkull (Finland) returns 5-15% of weekly slot losses at just 1x, with the rate rising by VIP level and a €5,000 cap. It holds a Malta licence, so winnings are tax-free for Finnish residents under the EEA rule. Live chat is for logged-in players only.
Rolling Slots (Austria) pays 10% weekly up to €200, at 30x with seven days to clear and a €50 qualifying deposit. Its cashier is one of the widest on the list. Licence details differ between sources, so check the footer.
Country notes
Cashback is a Finnish speciality and a weekly loyalty perk in Austria; see the full lists for Finland and Austria. In Finland, winnings are tax-free only from casinos with an EU/EEA licence. Everything here is for adults aged 18 or over. Players in Canada aged 19 or over, outside Ontario and Alberta, have their own C$ cashback page.

FAQ
How does casino cashback work?
The casino returns a percentage of your net losses over a set period, usually a day or a week. Lose €200 net in a day at 10% daily cashback and €20 comes back. That €20 may be cash or bonus money with its own wagering, which is the detail that decides its value.
Is cashback paid as cash?
Sometimes. Douppi's daily 10% in Finland carries no wagering, and SpinSkull's weekly cashback asks for 1x. Most others attach 10x to 30x, and Hurjaa and Pelifantti in Finland raise it to 50x when the cashback is paid as spins.
What's the difference between daily and weekly cashback?
Daily cashback settles yesterday's losses each morning and usually has to be used the same day. Weekly cashback settles a whole week, often rising with your VIP level, and may run on slot losses only.
Is cashback a good reason to keep playing?
No. Cashback returns part of a loss, never the whole loss, and higher tiers are designed to reward more play. If you notice yourself playing to reach a cashback level, set a deposit limit instead.
Can I get cashback in my country?
Each card is one country's offer, and your browser hides those your country can't claim. The cashback offers here come from Finland and Austria, each with its own cashback page. We found no cashback offers on our Irish list.
